This was the second time that I stayed at this hotel. It's right next to the station and also connected directly to a convenience store (you can go there in slippers). I liked the new style, being able to borrow adapters for el. plug and overall getting what I expected. Not having to use card when using the elevator makes the stay more comfortable. The breakfast was also very good, offering both western and Japanese food.

Breakfast was good. Mainly Japanese and had cornflakes, bread, milk, curd but no eggs and only one fruit.

The staff at the Smile were very accommodating and helpful, permitting us to store luggage beforehand and taking it to our room before we returned. The room was extremely clean. The bed was firm and comfortable. Although it is beside the train tracks, we found it quite quiet. A real advantage of the hotel is its location, 5 minutes from the train and the city bus that goes to the Oya Museum and the OyaTemple beside it. (Both recommended.) There is also a 7-11 attached to the hotel lobby.

The room was larger than normal and spotless. The breakfast was very good. The washing machine/dryers worked well. The staff were very helpful. The bathroom had good water pressure. The hotel was handy to the station. One of the best hotels of this star rating I have stayed in. The extra room made a lot of difference.

The room was spacious, with a good space in the entrance way. The location was excellent, very close to Utsunomiya JR station, plus the convenience store next to the hotel is always welcome. The staff were super welcoming! Shoutout to the kind ladies at the hotel’s restaurant!

We generally choose hotels close to transport hubs,so this one is only 2 minutes away. Room was fine,staff cheerful and helpful.

2 minutes walk from the train and bus station. 15 minutes walk from the busy area with food and drinks Spotless. Good bathroom. Friendly staff.

Location is superb, less than 5 minutes walk. from the train station. The hotel is very clean and the room size is reasonable for a Japanese standard. The room is airy enough and the aircon works well. The breakfast buffet caters both Japanese and Western breakfast, and our preference is for the Japanese breakfast, delicious and satisfying.

The room has everything you need and has great soundproofing. The lifts are fast. The bathroom is new and it has a modern Washlet bidet that even had instructions in English - the first time I have seen this in five years of coming to Japan.
